Another day for you to wonder, another day to mourn It wasn't my intention, to go before the dawn My pain was deep within my chest, my body was all broken It wasn't my intention, to go without words spoken. My frame of mind seemed normal, or so I heard them say It wasn't my intention, not to see another day I did not mean to make you suffer or cause you so much pain It wasn't my intention, to never see you all again. Pain and desperation left my tired mind unsure It wasn’t my intention, to suddenly close life's door If I only could explain, and brush the tears away It wasn’t my intention, to leave and not to stay. I struggled for every single breath, I had to try and take It wasn't my intention, your hearts, for me to break I loved you all so very much, you'll never know how deep It wasn't my intention to make you lose such sleep. My days were getting harder, my body was resisting It wasn't my intention, but I merely was existing Every hour of every day I couldn't bear the load It wasn't my intention, it was the end of the road. I did not mean for you to grieve, now left alone to cry It wasn’t my intention, for you forever to ask 'why?' As the burdens of my illness, slowly ebb from my heart It wasn’t my intention to tear your soul apart. I never hurt you purposely, please listen to my voice It wasn't my intention but I felt I had no choice Until the end I didn't know the how or the when It wasn't my intention but I'll see you all again...
